I hate to say it but there is no easy way to get them i ve titled this the best way to get them. Because personally. It is the best way there s no better way of doing it than this. But it s never going to be fast unless you have extreme luck.
And i know some players do in terms of the kyndra s liberty because to get exotic components you have to deconstruct the exotic weapons. I know a lot of players don t like doing it but it has to be done. If you want to upgrade..

Once you ve acquired it for the first time. You ve got it in your inventory. Apparently. I m not 100 sure so i would do some extra research.
But apparently you can deconstruct. It and then you can go back and get all the pieces and get the weapon again the same goes for the chatterbox and i m not sure i wouldn t even attempt it with a nemesis. Because it s tied to the invasion rotations. But for kendra s liberty and the chatterbox.
I ve heard that you can go and deconstruct them go and get the pieces again. Although it s still a bit of a grind. I would say kendra s liberties. The easier out of the two just because with the chatterbox.
The hyena crates. It has like a bit of our energy to it to get the pieces to drop so the best way to get exotic components in this game is by farming the sweet dream shotgun the merciless rifle and the pestilence lmg that way as well you also have a choice of doing pve or pea content. A lot of it in the dogs..

I was gonna be pve as well. But there is some pvp factors to it the sweet dreams is an outcast weapon. So you will need to take down outcasts bosses. Dc.
The headquarters potomac or potomac events and however you pronounce it i m gonna stick with proto mac. But that event center over on the left hand side of the map and also the roosevelt island stronghold. I m not sure if they re fixing the instances with the raid update. But so far the roosevelt island does not work properly on hard difficulty.
There s two bugs in the stronghold like during your run. There s gonna be two bugs you can encounter. Where you are locked to progress. You can t actually progress and complete the stronghold.
So i would try any other difficulty. But for the time being steer clear of doing it on hold and obviously some of you might see this video later on like a few days time or something maybe even weeks down the line. So it could be fixed. When you re watching it double check.
The roosevelt island see if it s been fixed in recent patch notes and things like that just to be on the safe side. So. As al coast..

Bosses. Dcd headquarters proteomic events center and roosevelt island with the merciless you go into one to take down hyena named bosses district union arena. Which is the stronghold at the top right the jefferson trade center mission and the bank headquarters mission. They all have a chance to drop in the merciless rifle.
So they re the ones you would grind to try and get that weapon and then the pestilence lmg. It s an outcast named weapon. But people have said they ve had it dropped from true sons. When they re in the dark zone.
And i think black tusks have dropped it at some point. I can t remember i think there was talks of it dropping in the occupied dz against black tusk enemies. But you have to kill named bosses. Mainly at landmarks.
It s an outcast weapons to try and do outcasts as much as possible and just know that for the pestilence. I grind it for six hours straight in the dark zone. And didn t have a drop once some people have said they had to in 20 minutes. So it s completely rng with the drop the same with the merciless in the sweet dreams.
The first time i ever got my hands on the merciless. It wasn t i didn t obtain it myself corner actually gave it to me. He was nice enough to well..

He was lucky enough to get a spare one nice enough to give it to me that s how i got my first merciless. The second one i got just by luck running the jefferson trade center mission so i deconstructed it to get my exotic components and then the sweet dreams we minded for days literally me and connor for i think it was an entire week all day every day for that week. We grinded the dcd headquarters and the postmark event center over and over again to the point. Where when we was grinding for it all the time on challenging difficulty for the dcd headquarters mission.
We were eleventh and twelfth in the world that we were the 11th place group in the entire. World there was a long time ago now so we re probably like 10000. Or something. But we were very high up in the leaderboards.
Having got the flow of that mission down to a tee just because we were grinding it so much so bear in mind. It s never going to be easy a lot of luck comes into it there s some rng factors to it to the pestilence the merciless rifle and the sweet dream shotgun are the best ways to get exotic components deconstruct them one should get a spare you get to exotic components when you deconstruct one weapon. So therefore you can do two gears core upgrades. As long as you have the weapon needed and all the other factors are all you have a crafting materials.
But that s pretty much it just farm for the exotic weapons deconstruct them get you components upgrade your gear score. And that is going to do it for the video. Let me know in the comments. Welcome back to The Division 2. In this video we re going through the best way to get exotic components. So far, before the raid there are 6 different exotic weapons to get hold of. You have the Kendra s Liberty pistol, the Chatterbox SMG, the Pestilence LMG, the Merciless Rifle, the Nemesis sniper and the Sweet Dreams Shotgun. By far the easiest ones to go for are the Sweet Dreams, the Merciless and the Pestilence although the Pestilence is locked to the Dark Zone so any players not wanting to go into the DZ will have to go for the Rifle and Shotgun.
These weapons can take a ridiculous amount of time to drop as they re RNG/luck based and it s always going to be a grind, there s no easy or fast way to get them. You ll get 2 exotic components from each weapon you deconstruct so you might only ever need to deconstruct one exotic to cover the gear score upgrade of the weapons you want but it will take time. Let me know how long you ve grinded to get them as I ve heard people getting 2 drops in the space of 20 minutes but it s taken me days of grinding before. I hope the video helps you out 😀
