Today, khurak.net would like to introduce to you SEKIRO – How to Beat Lone Shadow Longswordsman (No Damage) – YouTube. Following along are instructions in the video below:
“Here s how to beat lone shadow long swordsman first thing you want to do do is run up behind him don t lock on hit him turn around and for your life. He ll chase you you live and try and throw a shuriken at you. But jump up here grapple to the top straight away and then run to the edge of the cliff and hug. It he ll forget about you when you do that then turn around run back in and you can stealth kill him from behind to start the fight you can fight him properly and beat him twice take both of his resurrections in a proper fight.
But i personally would recommend stealth killing him at least once to start the fight. Because. This is a very small enclosed area and some of his attacks can push you into walls corners and into that fog. And when he does that the camera can unlock from him it can go all wonky.
Then and get you in all kinds of trouble by only having to kill him once you limit the amount of chances of that happening. And that in itself really helps to make the fire a lot easier in fact you can see the camera goes wonky right there in fact i throw. Some ash at him to slow him down just so that i can reset and relock on the key to this fight is successful deflections as in the coin that creates sparks and hurt his posture. The most you can even beat this boss just by blocking which i did in a video.
I previously uploaded let s look at that video now as it s the perfect showcase to see all of his moves..
The first thing to know is he doesn t have any unblockable moves that can t be mckee recounted so basically if you see a red symbol. Pause momentarily and then hit your dodge button each and every time there s no need to worry about different responses to the red symbol in this fight. There s just one press dodge knowing that the rest of the fight is purely about being able to deflect his attacks at the last minute to damage his posture as quickly as you can he has a variety of attacks. But the good news is you don t really need to memorize them instead spam tap your block button constantly and you should pretty much catch.
Any move that comes whether it s slow or fast just remember. Though if you don t time your blocks. You ll take more posture damage. And he ll take less so.
If you can time your blocks to occur at the last minute. You should definitely always try to do that either way. Though even when you re perfect with that this boss can quickly wreck your posture bar to prevent that from happening for the whole fight be mindful of holding down your block button whenever you have a breather to make your posture recover faster if he attacks while you re holding your block button recovering your posture. Just release.
And then immediately start spam tapping it again. The whole time you re doing that you want to be right in his face. If you stick close to him. There is less likelihood have been going all misty white to recover his posture also if you stay away from him.
There is a greater chance you will push you into a wall a corner or the fog and send your camera going bananas. Which will get you killed so always be in his face and spam tap your block hold your block to recover your posture. And your posture meter. Gets too high and then quick release.
What you are holding. If he attacks. You and immediately start spam tapping again to catch that attack. So as you can see if you re up in his face and deflecting him constantly you can wreck his posture.
Without a single strike..
But obviously. This isn t how you ll fight him instead every time you deflect and he staggers take a single swipe at him you can sometimes get in two swipes. But if you want to play it safe. I recommend hitting him only once before being ready to deflect again.
The exception is if you mercury counter him in which you can safely. Always get off two hits. So let s look at the fight now again this time with counter attacking immediately after your death blow. Take two swipes you can get in three maybe.
But it s typically not safe. Two is guaranteed to be safe straight after the death blow at the start the other time to get in two maybe. Three shots is after a mercury counter. Sometimes you can even get in four.
But that s dangerous..
I recommend only two after mercury counter for safety sake. And for the rest of the fight. I recommend only getting in one swipe. When you see him stagger apart from that just deflect and deflect and deflect and then as soon as you see him stagger one swipe.
If you get a mercury counter. Two swipes and then back to deflecting and that s pretty much the strategy for defeating this boss. So i hope those tips helped you what i ll do now is i ll just play the entire a fight from start to finish once again. But this time without me narrating so you can just watch.
It and listen to it and study. It without me talking enjoy music music music music music you ” ..
