pr outline This is a topic that many people are looking for. khurak.net is a channel providing useful information about learning, life, digital marketing and online courses …. it will help you have an overview and solid multi-faceted knowledge . Today, khurak.net would like to introduce to you SCRIBBLE Animation in PREMIERE PRO (That s what I like – Bruno Mars) Cinecom.net . Following along are instructions in the video below:
“Know guys i m not supposed to tell you this. But bruno here he made made some dance movement as late as video clip. That s what i like now and me we go way back. So that s why he asked us to kind of show him how the dance moves should be done now luckily we ve got janek on the city comm team you know what he is a pro at such dance moves.
So that s why we re taking a look today in premiere. Pro. And how to create these scribble effects. Here.
And actually pretty simple to create and also premiere pro cs6 users can just follow along so let s get. Started what s up you. Guys it s jordan year for cindy. Calm anet and welcome to another exciting premiere.
Pro tutorial today. We ll be recreating these scribble effects from these. That s what i like video clip from bruno mars. So that are these lines here that you re see popping up kind of motion graphics.
But it all pretty simply done actually and we re only going to use springer pro. So everything you see here are created inside this application all these cool things like this finger snap. And so on so let s start from a blank page. I ve got the video clip right here in a second sequence.
And so just genic dancing now it s just pretty silly. But we re going to make that awesome by adding these scribble effects to it we re going to create these shapes with title files. So from the project panel here down below me just increase. This panel here a little bit bigger like that down below here click on the new item button.
And then head over to title just give that any name or just press. Ok and from here. We can design these different elements and the first thing that jenning is going to do is it s kind of going to clap his hands right here and on that point we kind of want this clap effect to show itself in a scribble to do that i m going to take the pen tool up here and i m just going to create this shape. So it doesn t have to be perfectly honest.
Hands right. Now you can also make this in the middle of the shot. If you d like so so just draw different lines and every time that i m creating a new line and pressing the escape key because else it will create a path that is closed and that s not one we want to ask there we go these star from the clap effect. We re going to make this a little bit thicker as well and also round these edges and to do that to select all of them and in your properties here on your right side.
I m going to select for the camp type around and i m going to make you line white 10 and now just close that title err and we can drag in that title file here on top of janak and we re going to let it start just on that point where it s two hands are kind of meeting together. So that is on this point. Here exactly now let s position this title just select. It head over to your effects controls and from your images make a bit more place for it i m going to select the motion property and by doing that i can kind of grab.
These outsides here to make the scale. Smaller and also just take that and it s over his hands. Something like this perhaps a little bit smaller like that now in order to animate this we re going to go to the effects library and search for circle and just drag that effect on to do title. Now when you properties from that circle effect.
You ll find here the blending mode. And we re going to change that to stencil alpha and that will allow us to kind of reveal those stripes and make them go open now very important is that it starts from the middle of that clap effect. So i m going to select the circle here and drag the anchor zoom to zoom in e or a bit more so you can see it better there we go just take that middle point here and move that to the middle. As well.
So this is the circle effect that we re changing now move it to the middle or onto his hand or something..
And now we can animate the radius to kind of make it go open and we re going to start by hiding the entire effect make sure that you are and your beginning here of the title then create a keyframe for your radius. We re going to move several frames forward and then kind of reveal the entire effect like that now to make it disappear. We are going to drag in a second circle effect onto that title let me just zoom in here. A little bit more you guys want to start to let that scribble disappear somewhere in the middle here of the first animation and next.
We ll center that circle so select the circle effect and drag that middle point to the middle since we re not going to reveal this spark. But instead to kind of hide it we re going to say invert circle. And that will allow us if we re going to change the radius now to kind of hide. It by doing this now.
Just the same thing as we did before we kind of want to let this start where the effect isn t visible yet then create a keyframe for your radius. We re going to go a bit forward in time and then kind of hide. The entire spark like that and if we re going to play this back. We should see the animation.
If it goes too slow perhaps you can bring these keyframes closer to each other to speed that up or you can also bring them further apart. If it s going too fast for you karai s and going to cut the title here smaller. Because we don t need to rest. The animation has passed after at this point.
The next thing is going to be the bubble. This is going to be a little bit of a different tactic right here as jen is doing this move. There s kind of gumming. A bubble here from down below is going to pop the bubble.
With this hips go back to your project panel and create a new title there you go press ok and we re going to kind of draw a bubble now i had some problems with that but genic taught me pretty cool technique a bubble has four points one on the top one on the left side. And you kind of want to pull this here with a pen tool. So that we can create beziers then one below one on the sides and close your bubble look at that a perfect circle. Well i wouldn t say perfect.
But it s somehow a circle. So inside that bubble. We kind of have this reflection here so we re going to create that s really a circle. But it s kind of a rectangle.
But you can kind of have like these smooth edges within that rectangle something like this go a street just that if needed and i m going to place that inside the bubble like that perhaps if it s a bit too large you can always scale that down something like this would be awesome. Also you re going to select everything and make sure that the line right here is set something around 10 or perhaps. 7. Something that you have to play with there we have it a bubble close the title er and we re going to drag in title number.
9. Which is the bubble in this case to the edit. Here and you kind of want to make it to come up somewhere right here. We re doing this move.
The bubble is coming up to a certain position and somewhere right here. I believe that he s going to pop it when it arm is kind of on the other side going to make that title smaller. We re going to click on this title and select motion from the effects controls scale that down and kind of position. It s where you would like to let it start now from here.
We re going to animate the scale and the position let s start with the position create a keyframe from where it has to start and we re kind of going to let us go up. So also move your bubble up to something like there now a bubble. It s kind of slowing so it s not going in a straight line now you could find these little busy us here or these little levers or whatever. It s called it can kind of pull these to create some kind of an s curve like that and now your path is kind of going into this s.
Instead of just in a straight line that will kind of look like it s really flowing..
That s it s going a bit too fast increase that title and also move too frame up something like this looks a lot better and the next thing is animating the scale. It s good at this point the scale is perfect when it s at its maximum. So i m going to create a keyframe for that and then go back in time and now make the scale zero. So that kind of pops up from nowhere.
And you kind of want to make sure that this scale has ended its animation first before it pops open. There to kind of make this bubble a bit more alive. We re going to add another effect to it from the effects library right here we re going to search for the russell edges. It should be somewhere right here just drag that onto that clip and the only thing that we re going to do is kind of animate as well the offset so create a keyframe for that go a little bit forward in time just kind of increase that and you will see what it kind of does here.
I m just zoom in more on that bubble here as i m changing this value. Here. You will see that it kind of kind of comes to life that is what we can do with this rough edges effect. It s a very minor effect.
But it definitely helps to add some more details into your work. Now the next thing is to pop this bubble open and we re going to do that by adding these kind of gaps or holes in this bubble. And to do that so tedious way of the leaf is by just adding another title and also that is going to create a different kind of shape. Which is also a bit more dynamic.
So again go to that title er here. Say new title and press. Ok grab. The pen tool.
And you want to create a new bubble. But this time we re going to close it as a circle. But we are going to create this fake bubble press. The escape key to create a new path to kind of make this bubble like an open shape.
Something like this would do and also make sure to kind of add this reflection in it as well i m going to create that right here. You can always draw these lines and bring them together like that and reposition them we scale them if you like so something like this would kind of do it we re going to select this make sure that to be captain i this underground and that s your line white is set on 10. The title designer is not really the best tool to create these shapes you can also use by the way illustrator or photoshop. If you feel better with that program close the title er and i m going to drag in that title next to a previous one now we kind of want to have the shape or the bubbles popping open to be in the exact same position as the previous shape.
So to do that i m going to position the second title here on top of the first one head over to d motion. Let me just quickly zoom back out to sit mode. And we re going to change the position and the scale. So that kind of lays on top of each other.
And it was also the same size somehow like this and once that is done you can drag that title again next to the other one and now it should kind of pop open. But the popping is just for one frame. So we re just going to keep that one frame. There and cut the rest with the razor blades tool.
You can press the c button on your keyboard to data tool delete the rest of that title so it just sits there for one frame. And then we have kind of these stripes. Here going to the left sides to emphasize that the bubble is splatting open. And that kind of works the exact same way as with it with the first technique.
So i m going to go quickly over this create a new title here press. Ok. And with the pen tool. And just going to create three lines select.
All of them make sure that they are at around..
And that the align white is set at ten close. Tyler bring in that one right here. And i m going to reposition that also scale. It a bit more and let me just see if it s somehow aligns the same as with that bubble.
And you can use that same technique again by just moving that above another clip to kind of line that first like so and then just move that back to its place and we re going to animate that with the circles. Now since we already had that animation here from the first one we can just copy and paste that one so just going to grab these two circles here say copy with the control c or we can also just right click on that and say copy then head over to those sparks that we re going to enemy. Now you select that and press control v. To face those circle effects.
And the only thing that we have to do is change. The center of that circle move them a bit more towards the inside. Here also for the second circle. Something like this would be awesome and look at that we ve got the animation.
And i notice that we kind of have to adjust the animation second circle a bit more of that radius. Like that awesome you can also cut in here again to remove the rest of that title and we already got the first part of the animations to look at after this short break. We will show you the rest of these awesome animations. The team at premium beef has made it easy for you to find the right rope.
If we track for your corporate video or motivational promo with this created playlist of both upbeat. Tracks. You ll energize your viewers and spur them right into action. Don t spend hours online looking for the right song just click any link in description below and get the track you need welcome back folks now that we know the basics the second part of the tutorial will go ls patch.
So on this next move right here. Few more bubbles will appear left and right. And that s easily done by just copying and pasting. What we ve already created so just select the bubble effects in here.
Say copy by control. Seeing that or command. C. For the mac.
Users then just press control v. But before you do so make sure that the input here is set on video and that you deselect video. 1. And if we re going to face this now it ll also paste that into this video channel.
So it s coming up here. The only thing that we have to do is kind of change. The position where we have that path and we can just take those beginning two points here and just move them to create different kind of paths. You can also kind of inverse your s curve.
If you like so we ll have to reposition the splatting here of that bubble to then align. Them like so and then finally these two lines and we re going to flip those and that s what an effect just search for horizontal flip drag that on to that title er and it slips. The only thing left to do is let s change. The position you can select that again and just move that to the right site now in the video.
Clip. You also have a third bubble here coming from the left nest. The exact same bubble. So just select that and just copy and paste that one so now we should see three bubbles here.
Then the next genic mars move is this awesome finger snap..
And now. I m really going to go quickly. Because we know how it works going to create a new title and create several lines with the pen tool over here to create that snap effect the time or jenning is right about to snap. Is two fingers together selecting motion from the effects properties make it a bit smaller and position that around his fingers.
Like that you can go back to the first effect. Select. These two circle select your new title and press ctrl v. Do you base that over it.
Now jenica is also kind of moving its arm a bit up so we re going to track this snapping as well that s very easily done by just animating. The position create a key from for the first position and move forwards in time where he s kind of moving his arm up to somewhere right here grab that position and move that just a tiny bit up and now we kind of have the feeling that it s also tracked with janek and you can see you know where the animation is gone. I m also going to trim this clip now from analyzing the video clips we found out that the animations are more sub motion graphics. So they re not really animated they re just different pictures placed next to each other they also usually take like two frames.
Instead of one frame to really create that stop motion. Feeling that is also what kind of happens here jenna here is pointing to arts exams. And here s going to be like a little explosion kind of thing. But it just created out of three different frames.
Let me just show you how that is done we re going to start by creating a new title again and first that explosion starts very minimal so we re going to draw like these very small lines. Something like this so this is how it kind of starts dragging that title onto it and we re going to let this stay there for two frames. So one two frames forward and at this point here. I m going to trim that now i want to do to make this explosion.
A larger in the next image. But still can retain the exact same position and somehow the same shape. I m going to copy and paste this clip right here just hold down your alt key drag that clip to another position to make a duplication of that going to place that next to the other one here double click on that shape. So that we can change that and what i want to do kinda is make these lines a bit longer you just play with a scale here inside your title er.
Something like this and perhaps. What you can also do is create some more lines to add a bit more dynamic to it as the explosion is going up something like this close at idler. So we ve got two kind of shapes. Here you can see that the explosion is kind of growing and then we re going to do that one more time hold on your alt key drag that to create duplication and double click on that title here to change that perhaps also make these lines a bit.
Smaller and you can always create like these extra lines here. And this looks pretty awesome close that and now you should see that the explosion is growing here and fading out as well look at that ah now finally there s one last thing. That has to be done than that are these two fingers snaps here on the ends and since jen has already done that right shooter. We can just copy that and paste that twice here because you got like two hands that he s doing this with and since we have animated the position here of that snap and first going to delete these keyframes by clicking on the stopwatch here again now we can kind of drag that over his hands.
Where are you snapping and also the other snap starts right there and now we can animate the position too so create a keyframe for that left snap. And you can see that this left. Hand kind of goes a bit more to the left here. And now we kind of have that tracking feeling as well now for your right hands.
One. A jew is go to effects library and drag that horizontal flip on to it s like we ve done prior give that a new position select that drag that over his hand to right here. And start the beginning somewhere create a keyframe for the position and move a bit more to the right and then kind of reposition that towards where his hands are moving like so that is the final scribble effect from this tutorial and every other guy is jetting is just going to keep on dancing while you guys can download this project file for free final link to it in the description below or you can also just click just six download button right here. Thank you so much for watching and stay creative.

“http://cinecom.info/CorporateMusic – Create a scribble animation in Premiere Pro from the Bruno Mars music video That s what I like. Learn how to draw and animate shapes without plugins.nnLast week we did a tutorial on compositing in Premiere Pro. This was based on the videoclip Upu0026Up from Coldplay. It had some great responses, so we decided to cover another videoclip. This time we where inspired by Bruno Mars and his latest music video “Thats what I like”.nnThe simplicity in both photo and animations is what makes this music video so great. It s very playful and fun to watch. The video editors of Bruno, probably used some more tools like Illustrator and After Effects. But in fact, it s perfectly doable in Adobe Premiere Pro without any third party software or plugins.nnCreating such scribble animations or drawings can be done within the Titler of Premiere. With the pen tool, you easily create any shape you like. If you a more user-friendly workspace you can also create your drawings inside Illustrator and then import them into Premiere Pro.nnThe animations from Bruno Mars – That s what I like are either reveals, positioning (tracking) or stop motion. To reveal an animation like the finger spanning we used the circle effect and animated the radius. Other techniques used like stop motion, are just multiple graphics in different positions. In the music video, the editors also emphasized this stop motion feeling by making them 15 frames per second.nnThe scribble animation technique is nothing new. But often they re a little more complex, which is why people make them inside After Effects. That s what I like definitely shows the opposite here. By being creative with drawings and just some very basic techniques in Premiere Pro you can create some nice scribble effects!nn FROM THE VIDEOnArticle https://www.cinecom.net/premiere-pro-tutorials/scribble-animation-premiere-pro-bruno-mars/nBruno Mars Video Clip https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PMivT7MJ41Mnnn OUR EQUIPMENTnnMy Custom GH5 Camera Rign https://www.cinecom.net/gear/custom-panasonic-gh5-camera-rig/nnCheap Green Key Equipmentn https://www.cinecom.net/gear/chroma-key-essentials/nnAll the Film Gear we usen https://www.cinecom.net/gearnnnnnnn LETS CONNECT!nInstagram http://cinecom.info/InstagramnDiscord https://discord.gg/CinecomnnDownload Unlimited Video Assetsn http://storyblocks.com/CinecomnnCreate your Website with Squarespace and start with 10% DISCOUNTn https://squarespace.com/Cinecom nn#cinecom #CopyCat”,
