So kind of rubbery plasticky material here not quite as robbery as i thought. It was going to be so let s take the this thing out let s undo. The clasp looks kind of understated to be honest. So let s take the the covers off here and here s the heartrate monitor that i m after so fitbit.
We ve got some more bands on presuming this is a slightly smaller larger larger band may be other than a spare band. But we ll have a look at it so click this out you get a charging cable here and throw that way so. The charging cradle here. I believe is specific to each fitbit.

So you can t use the previous generations against this one cardboard. There that s some safety instructions and limited warranty information. A lot of reading there yunk as easy as that just download that up and you re ready to go to pair this thing up you didn t need this thing after all did i so here we go fitbit. I m gonna hit open on the app here just downloaded it and let s join fitbit right so i m gonna fill in my details here so it s created the account it looks like so.

I love the way. There s no documentation of how to set it up everything s done through the app. So i m going to hit agree to the terms and conditions here and it says to set up your chance tree. You must connect to it the charging cable and make sure the gold pins are aligned keep.

So here s a charging cable here and you see these two pins these match up with the pins across the back here so it s as easy as that really and there you go that s clipped in you can see that s a little cut out there for that side so you know you put an e in the right way around. And it grips it really really well and obviously.
The other end you just plug into a charger and look. It s already at 50 nearly 50 percent. There so we ve got that ready and on the phone itself. We re gonna hit next and allow fitbit to track our location.
Yes. We re gonna say yes to that and it says. We found your tracker. So it s just connecting to it now so we re gonna add there number five eight four five obviously i ve already got bluetooth.
Which is on i ve got the tick just up here on the fitbit device itself and it says. There s a update available keep your tracker close to your mobile device during update. We re gonna hit next so it goes through the update so let s see how long this takes. So it looks like it s finished downloading the update that took well over ten minutes.

I think that was maybe 15 to 18 minutes or so and i would jump to step. 3. Where it s installing and on the fitbit. You can three see that that progress bar is maybe less than half the way across so we ll see how long installing this thing.
Now takes finally about another 10 minutes or so later and it says the charge. 3 is ready and on the screen. We ve got the time so yeah we re gonna hit continue on the app here and it looks pretty tight so we re gonna hit next we re gonna hit next you ve got the one button along the left hand side so hit next hit next so we re gonna hit done here blinking with fitbit app. Required for connectivity features we ll hit ok the error along the top here requires the e mail verification.
Remember to jump into your emails and hit verify that synchronization error along the top has disappeared since i ve activated via email and you can see it s picking up my resting heart beat here as eighty three beats per minute so nothing so far but this is what i was after i was after the heart rate monitoring more than anything else over the course of they see how my heart rate fluctuate. But that s how easily and it is a bit time consuming it makes you wonder what actually are they doing when it takes nearly half an hour to download the update and then install it on the device not even smartphone big smartphone updates take half an hour to install. But i suppose you just got to be patient and we ll see how it goes with this update. I m gonna have plenty more content coming up on here with the fitbit charge.
