As with other weekly treasure challenges you can go straight to the treasure location without having to pick up the Salty Springs treasure map.
At the location shown in the video pick up the golden star icon. Then finish the match (or let yourself get killed) for the challenge to register correctly. If you leave the match manually without dying it may not update the challenge. You can keep track of it under the Battle Pass challenges in the lobby. You need to buy a Battle Pass for 1000 V-Bucks to unlock weekly challenges!
