Come at you with another youtube video video and this one is on a vizio audio sync issue that i ve recently across this is my first vizio tv i ve always had elements or sony tvs. Never really came across this issue until i got a 50 inch vizio tv and apparently.
It s a really common issue. So i did a whole bunch of research and i think the general idea or the general issue is that when you are using a set top box or an android box that uses hdmi. If the quality of the video that you re watching on that device is say 1080p or 4k. It takes a little longer to render on the tv.

Via hdmi hdmi. So the audio ends up coming through faster than the picture. When it gets rendered that s why you have audio not matching with the lips and whatnot so a really easy way to check to see if this is the issue that you re running into is to shut the tv off while you re streaming or or viewing. Something on your set top box or android device.
When you turn the tv back on you should notice that the audio is fixed. And it s now matching the lips. If this fixes it for you then here are a few things that you can try that will hopefully resolve the issue for you so. The first is to change the video rendering quality so if you go to the menu button on your remote and you go to picture.

There s a whole bunch of different picture modes that you can go through chances are it is set on standard when you get it. But if you go to game mode. It just s not just the brightness and backlight and sharpness and whatnot. But it also adjusts the the rendering power the framerate they do this so when you play video games.
You don t run into any of these stuttering issues or audio issues. So try putting it on game mode. And if that fixes. It then you really don t need to do anything beyond this but if it doesn t fix it like in my case.

There is another thing that you can try so if you go to audio. There is a section down at the bottom called digital audio out chances are it is set to automatic what you want to do is set it to pcm pcm. I m not exactly sure what it is you can look it up on google. But the general consensus is on the internet that you should be using pcm when you have audio sync issues like this so putting it on pcm solved my issue.
I no longer have sync issues with any type of videos that i m running 1080p or anything really so yeah hopefully this solves it for you guys. There are other things that you can try don t use hdmi you can try using there s an optical optical or forgot. What the other one is i think it s called arc hdmi arc audio yeah so if your device supports that i would use that but my device doesn t so yeah try those two things hopefully it helps it hopefully. It solves.
