fallout 4 best settlement mods This is a topic that many people are looking for. khurak.net is a channel providing useful information about learning, life, digital marketing and online courses …. it will help you have an overview and solid multi-faceted knowledge . Today, khurak.net would like to introduce to you Fallout 4 – Best Building Mods (2019) – YouTube. Following along are instructions in the video below:
” ve been getting a lot of comments. Asking for my updated mod list and surprisingly surprisingly one of my most popular videos is the top building mods video that i over two years ago. Which i still get comments on all the time. So i wanted to revisit this topic of the best building mods out there and it seemed like the perfect time to do so because since i m getting back in the fallout.
4. I just went through and reevaluated my load of order with a couple different factors that i didn t account for in the last mod videos and as of now. I feel like i have the most functional mod setup for building and functional is the key word. There which i ll get into the problem with settlement building mods is the more that you have or the bigger.
The mods are or the more items that you have placed down in your settlement. The longer it takes for the workshop menu to load up in the game. And there s really no way around this at least. It s not from what i ve found.
But it makes sense though right because there s no mystery as to why it takes so long the game is loading up all of these items from all of these mods at the same time during my sanctuary build on xbox. I had so many active mods that it took seven minutes for my workshop menu to load. I timed it was seven minutes. When i switched to pc.
With the same mods. It jumped down to like three or four minutes. Because my computer could handle it a lot better. But still three or four minutes is a long time just staring at the screen.
Waiting and then you know i built something for like an hour without saving in between because saving. Meant that i would have to leave the workshop mode save and then wait for another four minutes. But then the game would crash had to start all over again ok. This has turned into a rant.
But the whole point of this was to find the mods that i thought were exceptional meaning that i m going to use the majority of objects that they give me. And most of their objects are not found in another mod. So no duplicates essentially. Which mods am.
.
I going to get the most use out of i used to have some mods that gave me a ton of items. But i really only needed a couple of things from it and i just wasted resources so i have narrowed it down and i m very happy with the list that i have my workshop loads in like 10 seconds. And i feel like i have every that i need so i m just gonna briefly go over them and more so talk about why they re saying in my load order now at least half of these are not available on ps4. But i do mention some alternatives.
I do not have a ps4 so i did a good bit of research and what s out there. But i can t test them so just keep that in mind music all right in no particular order. I m starting with workshop rearranged in us. So.
I m just gonna get these two other way because i will be referring back to them a few times in this video. These two are what i consider to be workshop. Overhaul mods. They give you a ton of items.
In just about every category workshop. Rearranged is available on xbox and pc. And requires. All dlc while uso is available on all platforms.
Including ps4 and has the option of dlc versions. Now you can use both of these at the same time. But i stick with just workshop rearranged. I ve been using it for years and the big selling point is how it improves the snapping system.
So it s saying in my low to order. Because it gives me a ton of objects in just about every category and things snaps so much better with it and yes. There is a big possibility of it conflicting with other workshop mods. I ve never really had a problem with it myself.
But it s still something to keep in mind if you re on ps4. Though uso is a great alternative if not better in some regards next up is creative clutter. I talked about this mod. All the time it will never leave my load order ever.
.
I used it in every single one of my builds. It s the perfect decoration mod. It saves a ton of time and all the items are lore friendly and very well done. Plus.
It s still getting updates. I know the people who created this and they re an amazing group of people so i love this mod. It s available on pc and xbox and is dlc optional now there is another decorations mod that i use called a workshop decorations pack. And it s available on all platforms.
So ps4 users. Here s a decent alternative to creative clutter. This one is a good bit smaller. But still has a lot of great options and some stuff that you don t see or find in other mods.
Which is why i still use it another mod that is never leaving my load. Order is snappy house kits. All i have ever said about mods is that i want the tools and items that bethesda has to build with right i want the creation kit and workshop mode. Which is ridiculous.
But that s what i want and there s a lot of great mods that people create their own textures and structures and they look really cool. But i just want to build with what bethesda has to build with and snappy house kit is one of the only mods that come close to giving us that it takes a lot of the kids that you find in the creation kit such as the house kit. The deco kits high tech parking garage churches all of these structures that bethesda has used to built the game are now in workshop mode with snapping points. It s amazing and i love it so much in fact that half of my structures and sanctuary.
It s not way more than that actually we re built with this mod. It s available on pc and xbox and does not require dlcs a good alternative for ps4 users would be us oh i believe and maybe custom vanilla assets. Which i ll talk more about in just a second next up is soe settlement. Objects expanded.
This is very similar to mods like us. So where it gives a lot of objects in each category. But the good thing about it is that it doesn t give us a lot of duplicates. So the main reason why i use this mod is because of the various effects.
.
That it has like fire and sparks. And more so the raw lighting. These lighting textures. Only show up in workshop mode.
So they re easier to move around and they are a huge help with lighting up your settlements. Again this one is available on pc and xbox. But not ps4 now a custom vanilla assets mod might be a good alternative. I haven t used it obviously but judging by the description it looks like it might have some lighting effects in there.
I know a lot of people on ps4 that use this mods. So it might be a good one to check out oc decorator is another obvious. One it s a must have it turns all of your junk items into static items. So they don t get knocked around around your settlement.
It s a great decoration mod and is available on all platforms. And doesn t require dlcs. Now. The corrode tab is a new one that i just started using this one.
Gives us a lot of custom textures. And i know that i just mentioned that i only want to build with what bethesda has but this is too great to pass up the way that he did the textures looks amazing and blends in so well with the environment and other mods. There are a lot of great decoration items and prefabs that are also lore friendly this kind of mod just adds enough flavor to building with only vanilla pieces. And i m really enjoying it so far it s available on pc and xbox and requires all the dlcs cbc dead wasteland is a similar mod they use a lot of vanilla items to make their own prefab structures and decorations overall.
It s just a great mod. It gives us a lot of unique items and it really captures the lore of the game. Now i don t know what s going on with it it used to be available on pc. Which is why i still have it but right now it looks like it s only available on xbox and doesn t require dlcs imessage.
The author to see what is going on with the pc version and haven t heard anything back yet so i m hoping it comes back to pc. But right now i still want to show it off because of how awesome all these different items are a big thing with these kind of mods like cbc workshop. Rearranged soe is that you get a lot of unique resources. It s not just structures and furniture you get all sorts of different kinds of generators lighting water towers guard posts stuff like that which really helps to add all these resources to your settlements and give you more variety now g2m workshop is another one that should have been on that list it does the same kind of thing you get all these different types of structures decorations and resources.
.
The main reason why i still use this mod is because of the wood walls. These are absolutely great for making cabins or just random shacks and we have a lot to choose from i mean we get half outer walls ones with windows different doorways and so much more the other reason is because of these containers. We have some similar to this with workshop rearranged. But these look more put together with stairways and windows and all that i use this mod to build my container settlement.
Which is still one of my favorite builds to this day so g2m workshop is available on pc and xbox and requires all dlcs alright time for a quick speed round of a few smaller mods that are worth mentioning let s go first up sabrina s workshop devices. This is a great mod that adds all sorts of switches generators that go on the wall. Powered doors. Elevators and even a keycard that will open highly recommend busy settlers gives you workstations and animated rugs.
That you can assign settlers to which is a great fix for all the lazy settlers walking around bitching about everything modular kitchen not a must but pretty close it lets you build any type of kitchen setup that all snaps together so instead of having a very long counter. We also get individual ones that squeeze into smaller builds is great i still use it you should check it out and ground it incredible mod by my friend serena basically it gives you all sorts of ground pieces like mounds grass patches rocks and even retexture x walls and floors with just about every type of ground texture that you can find in the game. I use this mod to build an entire island in the middle of the ocean. And also a couple of underground bunkers.
It s available on all platforms. And it s a must now i ve only covered mods that add items to your workshop menus. I still use other ones like place everywhere and scrap everything. But those don t affect the workshop menu load time you can find links to the ones that i use like that in the description.
So all the ones that i went over in this video. Give you a great foundation you can build anything with these mods and the beauty of it is that it still leaves room for you to add in other mods here and there depending on what you re trying to build because like i mentioned it only takes about ten seconds to load up my menu. So if i add two or three smaller mods. It won t increase that time by very much it might be a little bit longer on console.
But still not nearly as bad as before. But i really hope this helps you guys and gives you more insight on the current mods that i m using. I m very happy with all these so i don t plan on switching them out anytime soon. But if you have any questions.
Please let me know and if there are any mods that you prefer that aren t on this list let me know in the comments. I d love to check them out music. ” ..
